UL-approval

UL stands for "Underwriters Laboratories". The headquarter of the laboratories is in Illinois, USA. Since 1894 they test and certify products and their security. The certification often is a requirement for the export of goods into the USA. One of these products are labels, printed in the Thermaltransfer-technique.
