Attendance of the printer

Every element of the printer that has direct contact with the ribbon (e.g switch axis, print head, sensor etc.) need scheduled cleaning, for example with isopropyl-alcohol. All cylinders should be cleaned with a special cleaner for cylinders. The cleaning is essential to guarantee a long durability of a printer used on a daily basis. You must not (in now way!) use abrading or scratching tools inside the printer, to prevent damaging the sensitive Thermal-print head or the gum coated cylinders.
