Thermaltransfer-print head
Thermaltransfer-print head
The print head is the most important part of every Thermaltransfer-printer. It consists of microscopic electric dots, set in line on a carrier plate, which can be steered individually. This sensitive plate is glued to a carrier from aluminium and connected with microprocessors, responsible for the steering.
There are different kinds of Thermaltransfer-print heads. They are differentiated by the arrangement of the dots, the steering of the resistors. They are specialised for different usages.
