Thick-film technology

Other than the thin-film technology, the single dots and transitions are not as clear and separated in the thick film technology. In the unbroken resistance line, "zones" between two fiscal lines are heated. The pressure point looks butterfly-shaped, due to the non existing clear delimitation. The possible speed of printing is slower because more power is needed. The dots tend to overheating, the resolution is limited.
