Consistency
Consistency
An important point in judging the quality of a Thermaltransfer-lable is the consistency of the printing. It has to be differentiated between the physical consistency against wiping and scratching, UV-light and warmth on one hand, and the consistency against chemicals like water, fuel, oil, grease, acids, bases and solvents on the other. The consistency of a printing depends on the used Thermaltransfer-Ribbon and the interaction with the material of the label. Time to harden (about one day) can increase the consistency against mechanic and chemic influences for all resin-ribbons clearly. The best consistency for the printing with resin-ribbons can be achieved with the correct printing temperature, which mustn't be to low.
